The experience is definitely good.
The design of the Laptop and the OS are both exceptional. The UI of MAC OS is very simple but elegant. And its FAST. It as completely different user experience.

I was using Windows VISTA for last 6 months and the performance was soo frustratingly slow that I was fed up.

Most of the softwares are available for MAC. There are some good OpenSource alternatives for those which are not available.

Best part is that you don't have to worry about Virus any more There are no viruses on MAC.

How times change....I cant believe I called my puny centrino + 512 MB RAM as lightning fast three years ago!! It pales in comparison to my brothers spanking 2 GB RAM laptop running on dual cores.

^^Thats from SLI... stock clocks on cards. As I said... massively CPU limited. Would get around 2-2.5k more if I had a quad core. Getting 12.6k on a single card.

performance benchamarks topping is never ending game. I was lured into it once. Not again. overclocking is a more intresting one for me.

15k for 2 cards ? you sure man ? Looks too low. Compared to this, my so called 'Pathetic' card isn't that bad

^^Yup I'm sure... 3dmark06 is massively CPU limited. Checked a few other 8800 ultra SLI scores on futuremark ORB and they are all in the 15k range with dual core and 17k range with quadcore. Its immaterial though cos performance in game and in most of my apps is nearly double compared to a single card.

Funnily enough, the score remains the same even if I force 4x antialiasing on 3dmark.
