Default Urgent help needed: Digicam below $120

I need to gift an entry level Digital camera to someone. Now one of my friends is in US right now, so thought of why not get it from there, since it will be cheaper compared to India.
The camera Must have atleast 3x optical zoom.
Presently i am considering Nikon Koolpix L4.. falls within my budget.. but someone told me that it hasnt got video recording with sound. Now i am confused..
please guide me..

dceite, I suggest you go to this site
Buying Guide: Features Search: Digital Photography Review
Put in price < 200$
And voila
You can specify canon etc., or whatever brand you want, and MPs too.
5MP should be good
Canon Powershot A530 is a really good option

Thanks for the reply guys
I guess A530 seems good value for money.

tsk, can you suggest some good online store?.. I am looking at Newegg:
Newegg.com - Canon A530 Silver 5.0MP Digital Camera - Retail
Their combo plan with camera case and memory card looks good ($131), but the shipping is not free. My friend wants to buy through online store only.

There are multiple online stores
Notable ones are
B&H Photo video
Newegg
Beach camera
amazon(amazon.com, not third party vendors who ship through amazon)

I suggest use froogle.google.com for the camera, find lowest price.
Then go on to
Compare Prices and Read Customer Reviews at ResellerRatings.com
If the store you chose has poor rating, move to next store and so on.

Newegg has high rating, but there are stores like usa photo nation which are con artists.
I have bought lot of stuff from amazon.com and have been pretty happy.

You can also try ebay.in. All models available at good prices. Not comparable to US prices though , but with Shipping cost also added might come close. Also it's covered by warranty.

Hope it helps

Best regards
