^^Its not an HD-DVD player... its just a normal dvd player that upsamples. Samsung is in the Bluray camp anyway AFAIK.

Actually I think it's the other way. It accepts HD-DVD but down samples to play on non full HD TV's.

Same here... my Bordeaux also came with free wall mount. But then, the wall mount is not part of the actual box. It came in a separate box. So i guess it has become a standard free accessory.

Nope... can't be. Samsung is on the other side of the HD camp. It only makes bluray players/recorders as far as i know. Also there's no HD DVD player available for so cheap in the US let alone india.

Your right ROC, my mistake it's a normal DVD player capable of upscaling to 720p or 1080i.

Nice choice with M81. But do you have a HD content? That Samsung HD DVD player is also a good one. It was free as an offer sometime back. I believe it costs Rs.7990.
the only full hd models samsung has are the mosel and the mosel blaque. the neo mosel is normal hd, not full.

Ok, sorry about that as well. The work is getting to me. It's the FHD mosel if i remember correctly.

Here's a look at the new Sony range expected end of the year:

The Bravias have mushroomed! - CNET Asia

ps: expect lots of new stuff before 2008 beijing olympics. Almost all big names are gearing up for a new range of TV's just before the 2008 olympics.
