Hey congrats dude......

So at last which rate is final ??

Even they can come down more from my price for bulk deal. if you buy in a group(3-4 LCD) then they must give more discount.

I tried my best to squizee them till the last and got that rate without any freebies.

Did you get anything with the TV??

Thanx

Lol no freebies the only thing they are allowing is that I need not go to the showroom but they will ahve a factory sealed TV delivered at my doorstep and I shall pay them when they come. They are stuck with the same price as yours but I am happy as every where else the Minimum being quoted was for Rs 38000 except as a personal favour for another bhpian -ashish a dealer was offering it at 33750 or round about. Thanks once again mate for your help.
It seems that Samsung has written to every one not to sell below a minimum price that they ahve termed it as POB or something since Monday. So I am happy with the price.

Please check out the samsung plaza as well, my scouting in chennai revealed that their price is less than croma and ezone.

What is the price and where did you buy it?

I am going in for samsung 40c650 now, just went through the features and this seemed to be better off than c550, so am getting the same. Price quoted is about 63K and odd. is this a ok price?

I was in a tv shop yesterday.
among other tv's Samsung LA46c530 was on display and it was super
It has got usb movie playing facility also. The company price is 91,900/- whereas the shop is willing to give it at a discounted price of Rs.68500/-
with some scratch offer (due to festival) from samsung. I think the rate is
very attractive.
I asked the shop fellow to play sony 40ex400 alongwith this c530 and definitely the clarify is much more on the c530.
The discounted price of the sony KLV-46ex400 is Rs.81200 (company price
Rs.88,900/-)
After comparing the two, it looks the c530 is better (clarity/rich images) than Sony ex400.

Any comments?

Checked LG PJ560 today.
Disappointed.
SD is below par and HD is ok.
Not impressive so ruled out.

Update-
Went to croma to buy samsung c450.
5 days back they gave me a price of 44k and now its 47.
Wasn't budging from it that samsung has instructed them not to sell below this price.
Disaapointed came back to check with other stores.

I AM NOW a proud member of the 50V20. Paid the full amount right now. TV will be delivered to my new residence very soon. Will have it installed ONLY one month later when the house is complete. For now, the TV will be in storage. But I have already checked it out and it's perfect. Dad says the picture looks very very natural but the brightness was very low. I told him we will keep the brightness the same for 100 hours. He was very happy, though, to see such a large screen.

Anyways, since no one has posted any pictures of their beauty here, I am posting a low resolution mobile capture. BUT still, it's worth the look ;-)

@frankmehta, any reason why you got a plasma as against LCD? Plasma is much cheaper but according to me, I dont get much satisfaction out of a plasma as against LCD.

Thats probably the second best TV you can buy right now - the best being VT20/25 and yes this is coming from an LCD owner.
