I've had the P900 for ages now and have been a big fan of the P range of Sony phones, but frankly they've become quite boring with hardly any change in design. The keyboard, with multiple letters on a single key, can get pretty tiresome to use if you're into writing email. I preferred the Dopod this time around and just got myself the C800. Very smart and sexy as hell!

The 3110 classic is a REAL VFM phone except for its looks - its not ugly but it can't compare with say the SLVR L9. I was almost going to grab it but do you know that the keypad is ONLY AVAILABLE in Hindi ???????!!! Couldn't live with the idea so I'm still searching

It is very much available in India. It is the all black edition. They have just launched the HTC Touch as well. Have a look-see. Battery life is fair as one would expect with sucha large display and will also depend on your usage/ brightness settings. The keyboard is sweet; very friendly unless you have unusually large paws!

Its a nice phone with all features of business phone (EDGE, 3G, Wifi and more...) + regular features.
And it has really good screen resolution.

Things to consider...
No touch screen, so no stylus and
Large size...very large width

@jaggu..thx buddy. E 61i is certainly getting rave reviews on other forums..

@vishal..Agreed. Touch screen and stylus , I can live without as long as the phone has all connectivity options..

Width is more blackberryish IMO..so used to it.also it is supposed to have a very good battery . Other gripes - No GPS , No FM radio , No second camera on the front panel for video conferencing

Still a good package IMO , especialy at 18.8 k with B & W.
