I have sold a HTC Touch. THe interface according to the buyer has been changed for the better. I havent seen it myself properly though but do expect some bugs in the initial batches.

Yep. The lowest quoted to me on last Thu was Rs.14250. Prices fluctuate on a daily basis.

@Mayank - Seems the exclusive contract with Airtel is for 3 months to start with....The product will be available in the open market subsequently.

@devarshi - yes to both ..similar to what hey had with Blackberry earlier

A friend needs to buy a phone under 8K. Main reason for buying phone is that its GPRS should be good. Other normal stuff like mp3, camera etc should be there..

So what are the options under 8K or for 8K

crap now p990i has gone to 15250 i have been asked to wait since it will fall down in a week. gr8 no new gadget this week.

Get a Nokia 6233 for 8.7k.

3 months is too long a time man. In any case I called Airtel today. They din't have a clue about the announcement.

HTC Touch is available unlocked with a free bluetooth headset for 35000.

LG Prada with a free stereo bluetooth headset is available for Rs.35000.

Hi guys
My requirements for the cellfone are big screen,great sound and a good camera and also good headfones. I am ok with any phone under 30 k .I would be using the cell mostly for entertainment purpose rather than to talk.Please help me out guys
