Have you tried free push email solutions? I have been using System Seven happily and successfully since the last ~6 months
Link->SEVEN Beta Program :: Welcome to SEVEN Beta Program

Also worth trying out it Emoze. Link->emoze Free Push email, mobile email software for mobile devices.

I had posted an article in the Shifting Gears section sometime back on a couple of more such free push email applications for the E series. Search for it.

I guess if he has a web option enabled on Lotus Notes, then both the above programs can be configured for push email

6300 is a VFM phone with all the features you can think of, I have the previous version (6233).

Only downside: OS is not Symbian, so you can't install most of the external Applications/Software.

guess you did not read my previous post completely

Check the link below to download a mobile application provided by ICICI bank itself to provide secured banking transactions without intervening fone browsers.

Would like to correct you here dude. 6300 has Symbian Series 40 3rd Edition user interface. I have a 6300 and have been able to install applications (Gmail, Opera) and Games on it.

IMHO, I find it to be a 'girlie' phone. It is no doubt very able, has a good camera (bad video, though!) and very very easy to use. But battery life is not good. You will be lucky to survive 1 day with heavy calling/SMS and not emptying the battery.

I didn't like it (my wife uses it, we bought it in Dubai, much to her resistance and my insistence. It was newly launched that time you see!). Also the fact that Symbian S40 comes no where close to the ability and robust-ness of Symbian S60 UI.

Raajiv... get the Nokia 6233 instead. 6300 has poor battery life and isnt as loaded as 6233 in terms of features and technology.
6233 currently is the most VFM phone in the market and it looks better than 6300 IMHO expecially in black with that classy chrome surround.

I read your post completely but didn't feel comfortable in installing ICICI's proprietary application, so relied on Opera Mini 3.1 instead.

Thanx hydrashok, that was the best advice I have got in a long time.

I tried Opera Mobile 8.65 but didn't like it. It is slow to open and sluggish to work with.

But Opera Mini, oh boy, I have worked on it only for a day and I am already a big fan. My biggest gripe with Plam Treo 750 was it's browser and my unability to work on browser with one had (I had to use stylus to click on a link, Symbian S60 browser provide mouse pointer which can be operated by joystick).

Opera Mini gives everything S60 browser gives and then some more. It is really quick, pages are rendered flawlessly, the zoomed-out view is really useful unlike S60 browser.

My phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 and doesn't had a Java Midlet Manager. So I installed Esmertec JBed to run Opera Mini.

To run Opera Mini I had to first launch JBed and then Opera Mini - two clicks. I created a shortcut, and can now launch it in one click. Opera mini asks for some connection permissions while connecting for the first time, resulting in two more clicks. Some registry tweaks took care of that also. Now Opening Opera Mini and loading page is really quick. I love Windows Mobile's extensibility.

Will keep you posted on my further experiences.

Question N95 or the N82

Well am getting a birthday gift from dad today. But i dunno which one to go in for?? Guys, please help me out choosing a handset between the N82 and the N95.

Priorities are features and resale.

Guys, could someone please help me with a definative comparison as to which one scores over the other in terms of features???.

The only difference between the two that i am aware of is that the N82 has a xenon flash which the N95 lacks(thats all i know). I think all the other features are the same, please correct me if i am wrong here! Is there anything else that i need to keep in mind before making a choice???. Guys, please help me out urgently.

PS.Both the above models are priced similarly.

Cheers

Hi guys, just a question to all of you. Is there any real world difference between Edge Class 32 and Edge class 10, as I am putting off my decision to buy a new phone due to the lower edge class 10 available on most phones. I currently use an n95 and the net is pretty decent using edge class 32. your help will be most appreciated.
