![]() Airtel was pushing it for 20K (locked to Airtel I think) in most metros. A friend bought one in Bangalore and he likes it a lot.

| Just got a 4 gb sdhc card for my e90. As soon as i put it in the phone worked ok for about half an hour and then crashed. it was probably because i had waaaay too many applications open... Phone hasnt crashed till now (probably 12 hours). Also got the nokia stereo bluetooth headset bl 501 if i am not mistaken . Audio quality is above average at best. But still good for bluetooth headsets. certainly better than most standard earphones.

I am using a 2GB sandisk on my e90 for over 15 days now and no probs whatsoever. I was about to buy the 4GB card which was costing only a little more than the 2GB version but the shopkeeper advised be to go against it.(hes a friend) He told me that the E90 frequently hangs and crashes when loaded with the 4GB and is not advisable. Hense decided against it and went ahead and bought the 2GB version. Paid Rs.1200/- for it. So I would be careful before buying the 4GB as after reading cooldude1988765 report I know that the phone hangs with the higher capacity card. | |

Did you get it from Mumbai or did you get it from abroad? Is yours a SanDisk too? I'm raring to get one. I can fit only 2 movies in my current 2GB microSD, and for that, I have to delete quite a bit of the other data. 4GB = 4 movies and all the data & photos & want to carry!

| Senior - BHPian | Apparently a new version of the firmware is out in some countries. Only known update is AGPS (a la N95) and a new version of Nokia Maps. Not of much use here :( Nice pictorial of the guts of the E90 (a version-1 body, BTW): Nokia E90 Inside and Out - a photoset on Flickr Latest buzz is that it will be available in India from October 10th. (We need a "rolling eyes" smiley here)

| BHPian | Hey has anyone used the in built GPS feature. I have just download a new product (available from the inbuilt download section in the menu) 'SPORTS TRACKER' What this s/w does is that it tracks your movement and stores it on the phone. Then the user could export it as a google earth file from the mobile and import it on the google earth desktop application. It shows the distance traveled avg/min/max speed, altitude and a host of other info. I find it really useful while driving, cycling etc so that one can keep a track where one went and all can be exported in many diff formats (even csv). Surprisingly the signal quality of the GPS is also really strong. Sometimes I have even managed to connect to 7 out of 10-11 satellites available which I think is pretty great. But it drains your battery so keep a car charger handy is you are planning to use it for extended periods of time in the car. BTW has anyone managed to use their Nokia Maps on their handset. Though india is now available I have not been able to use the same on the handset. Though google earth maps work really great, but kill you on the data usage |
