idea is to appreciate a person's efforts (Zibri) who has done so much for the iPhone owners as well as sellers for free. I am sure you would also appreciate this, as Dev team also mentioned that the did not do anything in Ziphone..

You are not getting my point on ziphone /dev-team i assume!!

1. I agree that new itunes will be launched ,so what's new apple launches new itunes whenever it launches new firmware ,you can check the history!!

2. For ziphone i was saying that he didn't work from scratch , what he do in initial stages he took jailbreak from dev-team,unlocking from iunlock software (if u have remember there was issue unlocking 1.1.2 from ziphone because in iunlock you have to put phone onto airplane mode )

I was just saying that he uses the procedure taken from the vaious softwares which were in the market !!




3. I think Ziphone is too a GUI (Graphical User Interface), I think the ziphone is the best and easiest way to get an unlock iphone!!


I too really appreciate zibri for doing that kind of work!!

Bro !! if u want to have 2.0 firmware in your phone i can provide you the firmware but the main problem in that firmware it doesn't have installer !!

Guys am looking for some help here , I unlocked my phone using ziphone 3.0 . Now my phone is the 1.0.2 version , how do I upgrade to version 1.1.4 ?

Also when synched , I was only able to synch contacts, calendar etc but no music any idea why ?

Lastly am able to send text messages but am not able to receive any messages ?

Would appreciate help ..

Hi rchimni first update your firmware to ver 1.1.4 using Itunes your phone will get locked again and then unlock it using Ziphone 3.0.
P.S Better to restore than update in Itunes but you will lose all your contacts,notes etc so better have a backup

Hey folks, wifey just got an unlocked 1.1.4 iphone from Malaysia last week. Using it on Airtel network, works like a dream, no issues till now, except for its sms app. and battery life.

The dealer has also given a whole lot of apps, games to go, still have to check it out completely.

try doing a restore from itunes and then unlock it again!!

If still not successful i can help you out , i am putting up in gurgaon itself sec-28 !!

Bro congrats on your new iphone but frankly dealer doesn't provide any applications or games in your iphone , just do the following:


look for installer icon in your iphone and open it browse all the applications and games for iphone !just click the desired application and install it !!

P.S you need GPRS or wi-fii for installer working!!

That is not version 2.0. The new firmware has not been released yet. What you have is a beta/near complete version (1.2?) that was given for developers. Features are not locked yet and the code is varying. App store is also being finalized ....
So, I'd rather wait for the official version.

FINALLY looks like its getting to be a usable business device, at least on paper. And at $200, one cant lose much by trying !

There is no talk about push-mail support, though. Wish it had a keyboard, but I guess you cant have the cake and eat it, too!
