| Kb100, I am not quite sure. Coz that is the main reason why you don't see it in the list. If you put in any other sim card, the option shows up again. Also, now a days whenever I connect to iTunes, a message pops up for a Carrier update. The apple knowledge base has to say this about the update... "iTunes 7.7 and later has the ability to update the carrier specific settings on iPhone with iPhone 2.0 software or later. Carrier settings updates are small files (about 10k) that are downloaded from iTunes to be installed on your iPhone. The carrier settings can include updates to the default APN (how iPhone accesses the carrier's cellular data network), special dialing codes at Settings > Phone > [Carrier] Services, default settings for Stocks, Maps, Weather, and other items." Does anyone have new places where I can get the apps? Appulo seems to be hosting a lot of dead links.

| Install Videora. It gives you a youtube downloader and you get videos with real good clarity. I tried "Rockstar" by Nickelback and man oh man, I sure am impressed with the clarity of this video.

| Vibration mode has suddenly stopped working on my 2g iPhone(2.1) The phone has not been dropped so I am not sure if the problem is hardware or software. Any solutions? Incase of hardware problem, does apple has a service center in Mumbai?

| Senior - BHPian | The 2g will not be in warranty for sure. The best option is to restart and try again. Or else reinstall a firmware, jailbreak and unlock it and test. If the problem persists, get it checked with some apple store ( am sure there must be one) but you will be charged for it.

| So i upgraded the software and that didn't solve the vibration problem. Sent the phone for repair, surprisingly got a call from the chap that the vibrations working fine no need for repair! Got the phone back and the vibration worked fine for a day. Today again it has gone off. Restarted and rebotted it several times but no luck. Has anyone had a problem or have a resolution??

| Senior - BHPian | There aint any other solution. Try the silent button the left. That might be stuck. If not , tell the repair guy to check as it works sometimes and doesnt the other.
