| I dont have much idea but you can always use wifi on phone to stay connected

| Senior - BHPian  | your iphone needs to be connected via wifi. Once you use blackra1n, it will jailbreak your iphone. you then need to install the blackra1n repo into cydia and download blacksn0w to unlock your iphone.

You are right, once you have jailbroke the iPhone you need to be on WIFI to install Cydia and with RC3 you have the unlock software bundled with it. I had problems installing all the bundle items at once. However, after installing one item at a time I was able to unlock. there is no need to add additonal repo for the unlocking
