Arrow Power tools

Anyone aware of shops in bangalore to buy home repair power tools.

- Impact drill/ Drilling machine

- Cordless screw driver

- Portable Car polishing/buffing machine

I am not looking at the costly Black & decker or Bosch tools, even the chinese made will do.

some options in the order of preference:
SJP (silver jubilee park) road
or
Metro cash and carry
or
Hometown (BIGBAZAAR type of shopping mall) close to Innovative multiplex

it is a good one.. but i think there is just one shop there which is not open all the time.. check it out if you are going there for general shopping.. but don't go there just for hardware shopping.. SJP road is much better on the other hand - very reasonable prices.

SP road is the best place in Bangalore for these. I had bought a Bosch drill recently. Chinese ones are also available but the life is very less.

Even Lifestyle home center may have them, but I am not too sure.

Today morning I was just lazying around reading the newspaper but then wifey saw adv for the Import-Export Home Decor Exibition at Kanteveera stadium. "Thats it, we are going to the exibition"

But fortunately for me, one of the first stall had the BOSH tools, water sprayers/ pressure car cleaners.

Checked the stall and was planning to buy a smaller handtool set but then the salesguy showed the bigger 153pc handtool set. Made my day.

Bought the BOSCH Handtool 153pc set.

But this was just the beginning, to compensate for this purchase had to buy loads of other home decor items.

Dadu, what was the damage?

Edit: Dadu, can you provide any online link to the product. Bosch India site does not list the product. I am also looking for a similar set but did not get any opportunity to get it as yet. I don't want to go in for the Chinese stuff and am looking at something reliable.

No, I searched in vain for the links but BOSCH website is not very friendly for these tools information.

Damage was 2k (with some discount), there was another one with lesser number of accessories (no drilling bits etc, apprx 50pc set) and with only screwing bits costing 1k.

The smallest model of Bosch pressurised car wash was costing 6k.

Total damage was much more

So you got the pressurized car washing system also?

The Bosch India and worldwide site is really bad. They don't list any products which can interest me.

No, just imagined the multiplier effect of it with the Wifey purchase and wasn't able to gather the courage.

Although got the address of the dealer for later.
