Thumbs up Transfering files.....

Nothing beats bluetooth when it comes to transferring pics.....
Pick up a Bluetooth USB Dongle ....the one i have is BlueSoelil, the range is 100 meters, price is 1600 bucks....
You get a mini disc with the software... as it aint plug n play......
Then you can do a lotta stuff between your PC and your Phone.. transfer music....pics...upload wallpapers...themes...Download recordings....

one of my friends has itfor his ngage qd(no usb port )
it detects the card as a external hard disk and then u can transfer data back and forth

No man 15 in one means that it will read 15 other card sizes. That means you dont have to keep plugging in your digital cam your cell or whatever other device you use with a memory card. Very neat device.Around the size of a credit card though a lot thicker. Youll get it anywhere. Try Alfa or Manish Market or ask your mobile vaala(everyone has one) for it. Dont pay more than 500 for it

Default Nokia 6708

Just bought this phone and am not able to figure out how to send a file using bluetooth. Tried to check the user guide also and nothing mentioned there. Tried the Nokia India site and could not find the phone in the drop down box for support (but the phone is proudly advertised on the homepage).

Can someone please help me? Thanks.

Note from Support Staff: Threads Merged.

As far as your problem is concerned -

go to the file u want to transfer, click on options, select send - it will give you options like infrared, bluetooth , select bluetooth - u get a message sayiing bluetooth is not on turn it on? (only if bluetooth is off), select yes - then the phone will search for other bluetooth devices in the vicinity..select to whom you want to send the file...and click send.

Most probably it should be similar to a P900 series SE phone. It works with inbox and files are stored in the folder called beamed. Check it out.
