I saw a Seagate passport drive at eZone yesterday - 120GB for MRP 7K, whereas the SP Road price for a 120GB WD passport was 3500 last year.

3500 is about the right price for the 120GB passport.

Seagate FreeAgent Pro 320gb
LaCie Hard Disk Design by Neil Poulton (320GB). Part num -301817U

Both are 7200rpm drives.

hi guys please help me i plan to go in for a 500gb external. Getting it from the US. I have narrowed the list down to seagate free agent pro 500gb and western digital my book home edition 500gb.differences are as below

taller but thinner / shorter but thicker
5 yr limited warranty / 3 yr limited warranty
( dont know the fine print of the warranties ) which is better ????
