What will happen when number portability eventually comes in?

Does it mean that I still can't keep the number constant when switching from one circle to another? I know it keeps number constant when switching between operators, but its not very usefull for people who shift from state to state.

Mr Steeriod,

you are a wealth of information - a database. Thats precisely whats required to map mobile numbers to regions.

You need to cram the numbers, unlike RTO numbers.
KA-05-N-100 => Karnataka State-Jayanagar RTO-Nth page-100th serial number.

Easier mobile number schema:
Example: 91-10-52-001234
91-India
10-Operator
52-Karnataka
001234-number

Don't go through lots of pains !

Simply use : TP2Location - Resolve any Telephone Number to its geographical location.
