| BHPian | In case your phone uses a BL 5C/BL 5CA battery , check this out MetkuMods - Because you love your hardware! Apparently with some jugaad you can fit the bigger capacity BL 6C instead ( 1070 mAh instead of the 5C's 850 ) tried it on my 2310. had to peel away the grey sticker and file off some plastic as shown in the guide , but it works ![]() I know that the 2310 has stellar battery life, buts whats wrong with wanting more ![]() will post at the end of the week how long it lasted. not sure if its an original battery that i got though :(

| Senior - BHPian | Filing the plastic is not a job for the weak hearted. So, they're warned! I'm curious if this mod will make the battery fit inside a 6230 varieties. They have very less real estate behind their backs.

| BHPian | I suppose it should. even in my 2310 (I'm using a 1110 skin - for the superb keypad) , there wasn't much space. that's why i had to peel off the entire grey sticker which covers the battery(thats not mentioned in the site) . how its just an exposed metal can in a plastic frame , but it fits ! i used a shaving razor to cut off the extra plastic, but yes, you gotta be very careful. And welcome back to tvm ![]()
