Default Info needed on selling used Cisco routers/switches.

I have a query about used Cisco routers and who purchases these in Chennai and what approximate price can be expected for the same. This is for a friend, whose organisation has these to dispose off. Items are

Cisco routers (2600 series) - 3 numbers
Cisco catalyst switch (1900 series) - 1 number.

These were bought new in 2005 (3 years old) and are in good working condition. They were being used till few months ago in one of their offices. Recently their 2 Chennai offices merged, resulting in these becoming redundant.

Would appreciate info on the above. Thanks.

Try selling them to networking institutes, or students going for Cisco certifications as these are the most common routers and switches in those environments.

Guess all are switches. XL 2900 series had some bug. He has warranty(smartnet) or so?

Small start up companies can buy these or people who lease these stuff. Not sure about prices as there are not sold anymore and hence not supported by Cisco.

Ebay
