Agreed, limits like the new airtel limit and tata's limits are reasonable.

What makes matters worse is the fact, what eats up the limit? Its normally softwares like torrents and other P2Ps which create too much traffic and connection overheads, [and mostly being used for not so legal purposes]

One thing that I notice now using my Airtel BB is that I am getting a consistent speed of ~50kbps. This was not the case before! Maybe they just want the users to reach the limit ASAP and then throttle!
