| BHPian | Wow. Most awaited. I am hopping that the major players will catch up soon. However I will wait until more channels are added to the package. |

| 100 Rs per channel is insane !! I was eagerly waiting for this. Looks like I have to wait more for competition to step in. |

| Looks like currently the HD channels are only a Tamil and a Telegu channel. I wonder if these would only be upscaled to HD resolution and broadcasted. The site says they are still tying up with Nat Geo and Discovery. I guess till then it may be a waste to go for this. |

| Distinguished - BHPian ![]() | Nat Geo and Discovery won't cut it. We need movie channels in HD. And 100 bucks per channel is just not worth it. |

This is indeed great news, at the least, it should have the other DTH operators sit up & take notice.A single blue-ray disc retails for Rs.1800 ! At Rs.1200 for a whole year, HD channels (in English at least) are definitely worth it. Add a few channels like Discovery & NGC & you have HD nirvana for the price of a handful of blue-rays. I'm definitely going for DTH-HD once Discovery & NGC are on-board... | |

| Nowhere on the website it mentions the resolution. The true HD resolution is 1920 by 1080 pixels. The general CRT tv's won't be able to utilize this thing and the most of the current breen of LCD tv's have resolution 1366 by 768 which is called HD ready. So even these LCD can't make a full use of this HD feed. |
