Guys as i said , XENON flash is imperative! Pixon 12 has XENON as well as led flash. With N86 i do get the 28mm "wide" angle lens but the flash is LED (WHY NOKIA WHY!!) plus the interface wise there is no change either.

Ermmm.. this is confusing. is there a 12mp Sonyericcson phone? svato or something?

1. GPS. This is MUST as I am looking for a phone which can run MgMaps and can show my current position on my phone. Without using any GPRS connection.

2. WiFi: Will buy a laptop soon and then will install a wifi router at my place. So WiFi is MUST.

3. Windows Mobile: As many things are readily available WM would be fun. And then I can learn WM programming if I want to develop something myself.

4. Should be under 15K. My previous phones include : Nokia 6600 (20K) and MotoMing (16K). Learnt it hard way that 15K for phone is more than enough to spend

What you would suggest? I am looking at Asus P320/P527. Do you have any other better alternatives?
Try the Nokia N79, best in class battery life (5MP Camera, A-GPS , Wi-Fi but no Windows Mobile )

I had the Asus 527, liked it but now its pretty outdated (has a 2mp Camera, 65K colour screen [N79 has 16M] , no 3G , etc)

P320 (no 3g, Poor Camera , slow processor, 64mb Ram, 65K colour screen)

Anyone on this forum use the LG Arena (KM900)? How does it compare to the iphone? Does it use a windows OS? What is the quality of music? I'm in a fix trying to decide between the N97, the iphone or the Arena....

Anyone know if the Iphone (S) has been released in India?

I can live with the poor camera and 65K display. What I want is good GPS and WiFi. How is the performance of this phone in the GPS and WiFi category?

Nokia has A-GPS while the P527 has Sirf III GPS (Which is better as I learned from Net) and then biggest advantage is P527 has Windows Mobile ! If you have used P527, please let me know about the GPS and WiFi performance.

Hi guys,

Which mobile phone brand is best known for voice clarity (voice out of the ear piece)? Can someone please suggest specific current models with very good voice clarity for around Rs.10k budget?

Thanks,
Guite

The Univercell store in Udupi has no HTC Diamond 2 in stock. They will get only on order. They didn't even know the model number. First they quoted me the original Diamond at 23K. When I said that is not right, they tried to guess the model number based on the 28K price I mentioned from their web site, and came up with 31K. It was a pretty ridiculous experience.

I think I'll wait until my next visit to Bangalore to purchase if I don't find a better store nearby. There used to be good MobileNXT store in Manipal, but they closed shop.

Motorola sets are known for voice clarity. Search for some in your range.

Between my wife and me, we have used four Motorolas. I am not satisfied with my current Motorola Razr v3i. So I am wondering maybe other brands perform better in terms of voice clarity.

Good morning Team!

I bought a Nokia BH-104 bluetooth headset yesterday evening from Croma. I charged it as mentioned in the manual (min 2 hours). While charging, it showed red light and when it was complete, it showed the green light.

However, it is still not getting switched on. Please help.

Check with Devendra in Jayanagar 3rd Block - he gives the best prices by far on WiMo phones.

Apple, during launch of 3GS in US, had said that iPhone 3GS will come to India in Aug 09. Actually they meant Aug 2009 and not August 9th.
Looks like this was the case of culture difference between US & India, in terms of understanding date format.
