Id say your dad's friend got ripped off,

THere were a lot of mobile brokers in Bombay who sold prototype 9500's for a lot os money,

one 9500 went for 82000 rs,

but all of them were incomplete devices with lots of bugs and lots of missing softwares and sometimes even hardware,

prototypes are more like testing devices,

they are released by nokia to be tested by their own personnel or people who opt for such tests,
much like the beta testing of softwares,

and sale of these devices is illegal for the seller and stupid for the buyer as they dont carry any warranty from the company,

so basically ur buying a mobile for which you cant sue the company, you are sure you have bugs, you're buying it sometimes at double the cost, and for what ... a couple of months ....

its not worth it .....

but ill surely post some more pics here for you guys ....

and take my word ...

the 9500 is a good device ....

true pride it is i remember 2 yrs back 7650 for 75000 first day prices i waited 2 weeks then nokia launched it i bought it then for 28500 with bill and warranty

I wanna change !!

Had a few phones before this.
Started with a Nokia 3310.
After a few months changed to a Motorola E360. One of the first colour phones then. Decent phone.
Then got a Nokia 3650 when it just came out. Awesome phone. Weird keypad. Lost that. It fell out while i was riding my bike. Boohoo.
Then used a Nokia 8310. Hated that phone. Too small.
Now got a Z200.
Gonna change sometime when i manage to save some money.

sony ericsson t610...its handy has a good net browser....basic camera (too basic)...the only problem is non expandable memory...the next one will be the sony ericsson p910....thats a whole new beast altogether!

Mobile life started with a Panasonic GD 90.. "the blue one"... when that was the hottest lil thingie in town... 2000

Moved over to a Nokia 6510 .... classic corporate fone ... with an FM radio..... one of the firsts in 2002....

Currently using a Sony Ericsson P 900.... Excellent PDA integrated fone.. or a SMART fone as its called these days....

7710 is nokias first touch screen loaded with features at a price of rs. 29000 which is good since nokias first camera phone was priced at 30000 when i bought it in the first week

nop 9500 is replacement to 9210i. it aint touch screen. after a yr it should b around 20 - 25. 15 too cheap mate. i change here and then when needed, i thinking im sticking to 7610 for since i love it a lot
