Been using a HTC Desire since past 10 months and as a satisfied and happy user I can highly recommend you to go for this phone. It ticks all your requirement checklist. Go for HTC 826.

How's the camera of the HTC compared to the likes of Samsung S5 or LG G3 or Moto X2? Any feedback would be welcome!

Just picked up the Samsung Galaxy S5 as my Xperia Z3 compact will be in the service center for a lot longer than I expected (Sony apparently gets their motherboards from Sweden and so it's still in transit) and they don't replace phones. Flipkart selling for 23k and at that price I think it's solid bang for the buck. Heck the camera is awesome, it's super fast and so far, the battery is doing OK.

Guys, I have a 2 year old Nexus 4 with me.
Very recently, out of the blue, the centre of strip of width 1 CM went dead. That part is not registering "slow" touches. However, when I swipe hard and fast, it registers few of them. Internet is filled with such reports and none of them seem to have a solution for this. The phone is rooted with Custom Rom Lollipop. I tried hard rest, flashing a completely different ROM, but no luck. Do anyone of you face the same problem as mine? Any solution?

I guess you mean by the display.
Can you post picture of the screen, maybe that makes it easier to understand the issue.
And please post in the Android phone thread, its generic mobile query thread.

Is there someone with personal experience using Nokia Lumia 730 or 735?

I am considering this for my mother who has taken a fascination of using Skype.

She is not comfortable with touch screens, but wants Skype - which means good front facing camera as well.

I heard that 730 has a screen flickering issue, so I am a bit hesitant to order it online.
Price is between 11 and 12000 depending on the colour.

I recently got Lumia 540 for my mother. Even she needed Skype as primary requirement.

It has a decent front and back cam, and its slightly cheaper than the 730 i guess too. So you can give it a shot as well.

Any users of Zenfone 2 here? The specs look too good on paper for the price. They start at 13k but the 15k and 20k model with 4GB DDR3 RAM, 64GB ROM, 2.3GHz Atom Processor, 5.5" IPS 1080p display!! have range topping features - https://www.asus.com/Tablets_Mobile/ZenFone_2_ZE551ML/

Feedback please?

Avoid it.

There are some very serious concerns with regards to Call dropping on this phone and abysmal battery life.

I would say Lenovo K3 Note would be a better bet, its cheaper than this as well and better in specs.

Are you a actual user or are you going by whats written on Flipkart reviews? Because online comments are quite contradictory.

I got this phone last week and haven't faced any of these issues reported above. Battery backup seems ok (for a dual SIM phone).

Which particular model did you get? I believe there are 4 or 5 variants. 2GB one or 4Gb?

I got the 32 GB, 2.3 GHz model 4 GB RAM model. I had read about heating issues in flipkart reviews but then haven't seen that as well till now. There are some bloatware which is a nuisance but then it is manageable

Do you think the phone is worth the 20k price tag? How's the camera? Any call drops? Does the battery last a day? Thanks in advance.

I went for this model purely for the 4 G RAM. If you can live with a not so great camera, this is a good model.
As I told, camera is not that great to talk about.
Another negative might be the sound quality on speakers.
I am not a big fan of photography and music and hence I can live with these limitations.
Apart from these, rest all are good.
Again, these are my personal observations and then it might not be the case with others.
