Default Best Free Email Client for Mac?

- Not pirated Windoze
- Never ran cocktail. Should probably do it.
- Will be more careful about swinging the mac after getting the lid down.

Another question: What's the best free email client for the mac? Havent been seeing many good reviews about the mail.app native client.

I use IMAP and I have configured for use on my droid on the go.

Couple of Qs:

- Are you using a pirated version of windoze office?
- When was the last time you ran cocktail/disk utility?

EDIT:
@Sawyer,

This crash happens only when you move your laptop and your HD has not gone to sleep. Once you close the lid, make sure your comp goes to sleep mode and the light starts pulsating. Only then should you move your laptop. If you move it before that, the HD head gets stuck and these problems arise.

I've been using mail since 12 years over all their OSes. Have approx 15 accounts(company & personal) (most IMAP, a couple of POPs) configured. No issues at all.

For the windoze crash you will need to delete a database / plist file. Will check which one and post later. That will solve your problem.

Super, thanks for the windoze fix.

The whole threaded business in mail.app is only threading via subject line rather than by conversations. How do you resolve that? And my sent emails dont seem to show on the threaded conversation (but dont appear in the sent box either).

Early days for me I guess. Just began using it a couple of minutes back

For the first time am also getting into the macwagon I was planning for a MBP, but fate has it that it might have to wait till new year. But then Santa has gifted me a MacBook Air to learn the tricks till i get my MBP

First installation was Chrome and man the machine is fast and the new finger gestures super duper convenient. Am already a fan.

Hope i get i series processor for a 13" MBP with the new year releases.

Thank you Yesterday went to apple showroom in forum and i was shocked to see 999$ MBP retailing at 100,xxx INR here?! Much more than the difference that a MBP has in India to US price. Wonder why???

Not sure if this has been discussed already, but app store for the Mac OS is up. Did the software update and it shows up, the feel is exactly how the iPhone app store was .

More info here,
Apple - App Store - Buy, download, and install apps made for Mac.
