If you've an Android TV, then you can download AirScreen App from Google Play Store. With this App, you don't need to buy Apple TV separately. The result is good and I've been mirroring with Apple iPhone as well as Apple MacBook. iPhone and iPad softwares being almost same, would be fine.

If you don't have Android TV, then try for Apps by searching your App Store or another way would be buying Google Chromecast, although I've not tried this as I don't need a separate Google Chromecast for my Android TV.

Was gifted an iPad 32gb wi-fi recently. Can you guys suggest a good protective case for it? The case should not be overtly bulky. Its going to be used primarily by my sister.
Also, i guess iPad would also need a tempered glass. Which one?

You really don't need any case or screen protector for the ipad. Just get the apple smart cover to close the screen when not in use.

I am getting a deal from Reliance digital store for Rs. 26500/- for ipad 32gb 9.7inch. If paid by HDFC card then an additional Rs. 5000/- discount (which will get credited later to the account). This works out to Rs. 21500/- while amazon/flipkart have it for Rs. 22500/-

My old ipad 2 wifi +3g is very old now and it served me well since 2012. Cashify is giving me Rs. 3000/- for it.

My query is are there any other tabs that I should consider or the above deal is good.

I have got a quote of 24.5k for the same model, with 5k cash back. Along with this redeeming their Pongal gift voucher of 3.4k. Final price comes to 16.1k. Is this a sweet deal?

Yes, bought a Note 8 from them and hence this much discounted price.

As per HDFC, the cashback is still 5k for iPad.

The offer is available only for EMI. What will be the EMI & applicable interest? Is 10k additional cost worth for going for 4G calling model as against wifi model?

Called Apple Premium seller in Gurgaon for ipad (mp2f2hn) and they are selling it for 28000.

Same model is available on Amazon for Rs.22097.

So, it is not a benefit of Rs.10000.

Just bought the 32gb wifi only variant from Unistore Apple.

MRP = 28000
Discount = 3000
Cashback from HDFC = 10000

Effective price = 15000

Emi = 25000/6 = 4167/month

^^^ Thanks man! Your post answered the question about interest rate/offer.

Can a present ipad user comment whether he/she felt the need for 4G connectivity, or is the wi-fi connection enough?

I have been using the ipad 2 wifi + 3g model since 2011/2012 but never bought any simcard for it.

It depends on what usage you have for the ipad.

To me 3g/4g is not of any use since my ipad is mostly run on wifi, and whenever needed urgently I use the hotspot from my mobile phone to my ipad. It suffices my requirement and I don't feel the need to buy another cellular plan specifically for the ipad.

The WiFi model does not have a gps chip in it, the cellular one does. If this is important, then you have to go for the cellular model. Else one can manage with the WiFi model and net connection through phone.
