Mentally missed the bit where you said you paid extra for Indian Billing (and your brother saved by buying abroad).
Whenever I see price differences between India and Overseas, I try and factor warranty into account.

You need to pay for BB services and 3g separately. I was on 899 BB plan (unltd browsin + all IM's support + Personal & enterprise e-mails) + 675 rs 3G plan.

Take your pick.

Regarding the handset, i am using Curve 3G 9300. Let me know if you have a query on this one.

Thank you. So the BB services and 3G can co-exist. There are lot of discussions about the BB APN and 3G APN being different and that they cannot be used together.

Another question is that i can take the BES 399 plan and 200MB 3G plan if i want, right? There is no bullying by Airtel that we have to take 899 and 675 3G plan

Yes, they can co-exist. The APN settings will be used when you want to browse the internet from your laptop via BB.

Last time i checked (last week) the only enterprise plan is for 899 :(
You can then take any 3g plan you like - no drama.

The Bold 9780 is a rock solid device but is as you rightfully said, outdated. the new os7 devices come with good hardware and the new os is a good improvement as well.

the 9900 is having a few battery issues here and there so my advice would be to wait for the 9790 when it comes out! which is basically the 9780 with a touchscreen and all the upgraded hardware goodies

Go for OS7 phones now for better performance, graphics & multimedia features which are at par with the competition. OS6 is so 1980's

PS: I am on OS6

Hello guys,
I got an offer for BB tour 9630 3G phone for Rs 9999/-(actual price Rs 26,000/-) How is that phone? I presently use BB curve. How much difference between the two? (I got that offer on mail).
Thanks in advance
