Hi all,
Had gone to TATA showroom for some work for my Indica. Saw the new Palio. Could not test drive it, but interiors seem a little better than before. However, other than 2 tone interior, nothing major difference to what was there before. Missing was the cup holder (or did I miss it because it was some retractable thing?). Seating etc is same as before.

Well, all in all, a better car than Indica, but unfortunately looks like we cant have all good things one car (service, Resale aspects).

I agree about Fiat but You mean Tata has the worst build quality than Maruti and Hyundai...I thought it is the other way round...Pls clarify?

Build quality wise:

Fiat > Hyundai > Maruti > Tata

This is 100% true. I saw all these cars in my family. I agree that.

Regards,

Ravi.

Did you try the Swift DDiS???

Please try it before taking a decision on the other cars... YOu have nothing to lose (Except may be, writing one more detailed TD report here on the forum)

But, its a fantastic car to drive, fun to drive and very efficient as well...

Congratulations Sriky! You seem to be a very sensible customer. You had your priorities set in a car from the beginning and you've bought yourself a gem of a car with an even better engine.I believe the price was never a problem in your case, since you test drove almost all hatches in the range of 3.5L to 5.5L.But a great choice in the end.

The Swift DDiS is a beautiful package. It has the Fiat connection you always wanted in your car, backed by the no.1 manufacturer. You certainly cant go wrong with that decision.Good luck and thank you for the great test drive reports on the 4 cars.

Congrats for booking Swift VDi. We already
have many satisfied owners of the great swift here. Your test drives of the 4 cars helped me increase my Gyaan too
. Have a great time
with the swift DDiS VDI
