Post Waiting for my Swift

Hi snaronikar
Here goes...
Colour: Metallic Sunglight Copper
Freebies: NONE
Since i am not opting for a loan... No EMI
Other stuff that i am planning to buy from the dealer:
Extended Warranty
Anti rust coating (Since i live close to a creek so lots of salty air to invite rust:( )
Teflon Coating (Could not convince dad to go against it)
Mud flaps
Havent decided if i will go to the dealer for the security system.
Currently also considering xenos to be an option...
Guess that covers it..

Will think of alloys & other mods later (already overran my budget )

@swiftcrazy - TeamBhp is a great stressbuster. I spent most of my waiting time reading threads.

@Jaggu - I don't drive in any mileage mode either, I am busy sampling the turbo in each gear, provided I get space in traffic. That means I am always doing the wrong side of 60 kph, even in city, whenever the traffic is not bumper-to-bumper.

Since I got the car, I have started a new thread here for review ->

Mods, please close this topic.

I would say think twice about Xenos, the range of the keyless is pathetic.. sometimes the sound (rainy days) doesnt work..have taken it to their service guys many times, but with no louck..

My earlier Minda did very well, is good if you arent looking at the heavir features..

Hey Kartik,

I had read somewhere on a thread that this is one of the best available.
i am thinking of getting a keyless that will sound if anyone tries to take my ice
i would also like features like auto roll up of windows etc

Does anyone have any other suggestions about good security systems for me

Thanks

was very happy with Minda's range, just that I could never find stock of the high-end model..(with stuff like Engine Immobiliser, Impact Sensor & Auto-window roll-up). The Minda's range was otherwise, pretty good..

Went in for Xenos, just so that I could get the other features, which were more important than 'just the range'.

Would suggest Minda (Fort Knox)if you can find the model with all the features you need
