Accent GLE is not discontinued. Only Viva, 1.6 DOHC and CRDi s are discontinued. In fact Hyundai still exports them in huge numbers, so it makes sense to retain the car.

IMO go in for the Accent, I have one & it is a fantastic car, after all it is 94 bhp, interiors are still very good, Swift is a more modern car, but it is really small and no boot space.

Sorry if i'm confusing you more. SInce you have said Swift and Accent i am guessing that you have a budget of 5.8L On The Road. Now if you ask me which car to go to for this price i would choose neither.

Accent is way too old to invest my money in it now. The Swift is too cramped in the interiors and the exterior is so bulky that almost all swifts i have seen have a scratched wheel arches. THe engine deliveres its poer at higher rpm's this means that you will have to do the work to get the car moving the way you want it to. Anyways this is not something that i would recommend for a weekend outing!!!

If i were you i would either check out the U-Va or wait for the Getz CRDi.

PS: Swift Owners Please dont kill me for saying this!!!!!!
