Is it worth waiting for Getz Diesel ? What is your suggestion

You havent mentioned how many ppl would travel in the car, at most times.

If the comfort of those sitting behind matters to you, its better that you dont think of the swift (cramped, bad ride quality, and claustrophobic).. test drive one along with your family, will you'll get the right feedback..

It will be 5 people , 4 adults and one child. May be I should take a test drive along with my family. I waited (still waiting) for almost 6 months for the getz crdi launch , but still no news.

CARtik, have you been in the back seat of the Swift DDiS? Or just the Swift petrol?

Cause many have mentioned the ride quality of the diesel is much better than the petrol.

Hi,

Would suggest you buy the Getz diesel. It is far more spacious inside and has a solid build. Also Hyundai is known for its CRDI engines.

Hey I think it is a good idea to book the Swift Diesel now. I saw an open letter by Jadish Khattar in the papers recently assuring that the capacities have been ramped up. Who knows you might get it in 2 months in that case. Even if the Getz Diesel is launched in the third quarter of the year and what if the waiting period for that is another 8 months or more
My thoughts

Ya, agree with firingonallfour. You book the Swift and wait parallely if Getz diesel releases, then you canel the booking of swift and go for getz..But make sure that they will return your whole amount back (with interest) if possible. I spoke to Mandovi, they informed they will give back the whole amount without interest if we are calcelling the booking....just check and book the car.... vbmenu_register("postmenu_505760", true);
