My 2 cents worth...

1. Zen body (2 door is best ^^^) with Baleno G16B engine
2. Standard 2000 (notchback?) body with a good modern diesel (CRDI 2.0L from Hyundai)
3. Chevy SRV with the magnum TDCi engine

Of course, your cosmetic changes would heat up the exteriors...

All the very best .

@ ram buy a swift, there is only so much you can do in one week, get some neat header and pipes, get something from Racedynamics for the ecu and do some mild body kits, fit 195 15 tyres and fix a good ice. You will have a reliable modded car and will be happy. once you get bored go for repaint options.

I have decided on a swift and the car would be with me next week.It took a long time as no good swift ZXI was available. This one is a golden color ZXI and i am planning for a F.F.E ,and alloys with upsize tires for the time being.Angel eyes and green cotton will follow in a month.

Suggest go for a zen and plonk in an esteem engine. The zen responds well for body mods aswell. I feel that wide body kits would suit the zen more than the swift..Just My opinion.

On the right is a Corsa Sail 1.6 with the above mods and on the right is a completely souped up OHC VTEC.
Don't know if its only my eyes deceiving me, but the car in the near lane looks like a type 1 OHC rather than an OHC VTEC... nothing to say about the driver's reaction time though

my opinion..buy a swift or OHC-vetc for a perfect mod...you can throw them all around and sell them when ever you want for a decent price...
