Verna Crdi Vs GetZ Crdi. EDIT : Finalising on Getz!

Hi Pals,

I am back.
I'll be coming back to india by this saturday.
still searching for a good car.
Now Dzire too released.
I have 4 cars in my mind.

1.Swift Dzire Zdi
2.Hundai GetZ Crdi
3.Ford Fiesta Zxi Diesel
4.Hyundai Verna Sx Crdi ABS

I am too confused on selecting a car.
I'll keep the car for 3+ years.
I need a good driving pleaseure and FE too.

Dzire ZDI waiting period is way to long 4-5 months. Instead of opting for Getz i would rather suggest you the Verna CRDI with ABS. Fiesta is awesome car but only negative is Ford's A**. I would suggest you to either opt for the VERNA CRDI - ABS or the FIESTA ZXI.

@Aks! Congrats . Good choice ! Getz crdi doesnt have coloured ORVM's and door handles?? Thats quite a surprise for a 6 lacs + car. I had noticed the same in Kpzen's getz crdi.

OT : why did you decline the Fiesta tdci & Verna D?

just money constraint.
have to spend some 2.5 L more for verna or Fiesta.
I am the only person going to use the car mostly running with single person and parking issues too in my office

Congrats Karthik on selecting Getz CRDI. I too had the same thing in mind when comparing verna. Verna CRDI is only for the diesel engine it has and not for the looks. Now you have the Rocket & Looks in your hand. Enjoy your ride.

Congrats Karthik!! How about us booking together??! I am haggling for ABS - told them that is a petrol variant has a option, it should be possible in Diesel too, and would be grateful if they take it up with the manufacturing plant. I am also awaiting my TD... So worst comes, I should be booking late this week or by next week...

may be 15 days.planned for passion Red.
it's not in stock so 15 to 30 days.

Hey I checked with HMP for a Black Getz. 6.29 on-road, and one month was the wait-time. No freebies other than the usual mats and flaps.

DSC said they can get the vehicle within 10 - 15 days, costs the same. I get the same "freebies" and remote locking.

My disappointments: No ABS - no way at all. Rear wash and wipe, and defogger is not available either.

Rear spoilers comes to about 7.5k and Fog lamps will be 3.5 - 4k - both are Hyundai original / oems.

Someone from DSC is coming to meet me tomorrow, if all goes well i'd be booking one!

i just checked up here in hyd and the price quoted
On Road : Rs.640049 and the waiting period is max. 30 days
no freebies offered.

what freebies have they promised to you?
I haven't spoken to HMP and may get something but not sure about it.
demanding while giving advance for the car will ripe some more than normal talks.
so awating this saturday and need to finalize the car.
color is confirmed Passion Red.
