No. You have to pay 1500 for the almost mandatory Footmat after paying 5.45 lakhs for the Magna in Bangalore

Santro Xing has an mp3 player + front speakers, remote Locking (and footmats ) free at an onroad price of 4.17 (top end) in Bangalore

An update (as promised) on the discount scene..

Visited a couple of Maruti dealers in West Mumbai this week - no decent discounts currently on offer on the WagonR- they are offering free insurance (11K) plus some meagre discount of upto 2-3K :(

Compared to which a couple of friends got sizeable discounts upto 25K in December..

Any better schemes likely to be on offer in March (year end or budget factors etc), or not much point in waiting?

I was offered a cash discount of 95 thousand for H2 1.8E model in Bangalore. However, I heard if you bargain you can get more than a lakh, since Corolla is getting replaced by the new model sometime this year. I am not sure if it is worth to go for a model that is getting replaced for such a huge discount. Though I don't plan to resell the car for another 4 or 5 years atleast. Any suggestion??

Default Re.discount on Mitsubishi Cedia?

Hi T-bhpians,

Any idea what discounts are there for Cedia (apart from free 1st year insurance that is being offered by HM)? I am considering a Mitsubishi Cedia but at a discounted rate than the current one. Should one wait till march end to get a good idea?

Secondly, what discount one should expect for a 2007 model of Cedia over a 2008 model?

Appreciate feedback from on the above.

Thanks
Ash

In Bangalore the dealer is offering 30K cash discount for 1.8s. I guess HSV was offered 50K at his place for 1.8v. I have asked the dealer for the stanley leather seats worth 38K instead of the 30K cash discount. The dealer as usual is "working hard" discussing with his manager for me

Anyone else who has better discount on the Civic, please pitch-in? I am planning for the Civic 1.8S, sometime this month.

When i talked to the dealers recently- couple of them actually said that in March, many folks buy to claim depreciation benefits (?) and so there may not be any discounts on offer in march.

Can some expert advise on this - what is more appropriate - Companies (with march year ends) want to publish higher sales number, and so would tend to "push" cars in march by offering more discounts, or people want to claim depreciation benefits (? again) and so due to the increased demand, companies are likely to withdraw all discounts..

My decision to book now, or just wait till march and see (if there are any sizable discounts)..depends on this..so kindly help
