dan , the amby website says 152mm. where did you get the 180mm plus figure from?

to the OP. keep on dreaming dude.you want a car which offers substantially more(bigger size, more FE, features) than your old swift, but at the same price..
beggars cannot be choosers
I think the SX4 is a near match though. 180/190 mm GC, 505L boot, alloys. the looks are debatable though! you'll have to compromise on one or more of your requirements. tells us their relative priorities, and we'll see

1] Budget between 4-5 lac on road.. yes...
2] Fuel Consumption: above 15kmpl at least in city. -- ?? this one is important. more then swift LXI petrol?
3] Ground Clearance: 180 mm plus --- It's 165mm compromise again..
4] Boot space : 500 IT'S 380 Litres120Less, but more then swift's boot space. try to be happy deadman
5] Alloys, Power steering, sexy looks, A/c . --- power steering, No Alloys, looks sexy enough....with A/C.....ok for me.

If you need lots of boot space and decent looks, the Marina is worth a look. Its the best looking Indigo in my opinion (especially in black) and it can take the bad roads without much trouble.

Deadman: I think you are asking for too much. You need to compromise on somethings. You may not find the car exactly to your specifications. In fact, we all do some compromise during our purchases. If the car meets around 80~90% of your requirements, then go for it.

take a good look the indigo CS(stands for compact sedan) its the best fitting car in your budget and meets more than 80% of your requirements!

its top model is for 5lacs odd on road! atleast here in Hyderabad its 5lacs on road, it has the TDI engine, it has 70ps power so should be better buy of the lot in the current market as well, and i am guessing its going to give other cars a tough competition too!

a sedan that too diesel with 70ps power, at under 5.1 lacs should be a very good deal, and also the driving position is a mix between the tall boy design and a sedan which i particularly liked, as this was long awaited too!

checkout this car or wait for some more time to see the other releases!

except the looks Tata Magic will fulfill all your needs and you will have several lacs left to do it up... on a serious note you dont have any option that fulfills all your needs, you are just asking for too much. even an alto would have to work hard to give 15 kpl in city. IMO you will have to wait for a new release or till the road conditions in your area improve. till then indigo cs is the nearest match.

How come you are compromising on the most vital part of your requirement, the GC ? like someone suggested, get a palio adventure, it has all the works.

man....."esteem_lover " palio adventure? it's above 5 lac...which is like mission impossible for me. ...but you are right GC 190 that is very good point. . But it looks to me like tourist car...I drive in less then 50km range from my area. I may go for a long tour above 100km but that may be once in a year.....even not sure about it. .
