Default Ford Fusion+

Guys,
I am new to this forum.

I am planning to buy a Ford fusion+ with ABS in a fortnight.
I needed a mini SUV with a good engine.
what do you people feel?
I would love to hear your comments

Raj

I have not driven Fusion, so purely based on whatever I have read about it.

1. Good engine. (Duratec)
2. Very practical vehicle.
3. Supposedly bumpy low speed ride.

Now my personal opinion is that this vehicle seems to be overpriced for all it offers. I would go for Scorpio in same money.

I just thought Scorpio was too big a vehicle to drive in a city.
rather wanted a compact Mini-SUV

Well, then there is no competition, Fusion is unique And I don't think that you are looking for station wagons like Fiat adventure, Baleno Altura, Swing or Marina.

Welcome to TBHP.

Have taken a test drive on Fusion? If not then take one and satisfy yourself.
Looks like you've already decided on Fusion and only trying to get a confirmation from the forum. Let me tell you, you'll get mix response.

Fusion is too new a car to comment on it's pros and cons.

Finally you're the person who'll be using the car. Check it out yourself.

Well i have gone on a TD of te fusion and along with what everyone says i must add that the interiors feel cheap.
Oh and it is not a mini SUV so if you do pln off roading i think you might have to look elsewhere.
As an overall car i am kind of fond of it however but only wish it came with better interiors

dude i have taken the test drive of the fusion +
i liked the interiors and the car has nice suspension handling and power
but the car is very sluggish in first and second gear , the car is not meant for traffic driving at all and nor does it give u any mini suv feel

I personally think that the Fusion feels cheap and built to a price.
If you do not mind something bigger, go check out the Innova.
Or else i guess you will be stuck with only the fusion.

frankly for 8.5 laks i will shout out toyota innova. i think it is a little big for your needs. but its well worth it. u get a hell lot more than u do out of the fusion plus u get option of petrol or diesel

Dear BHP,/and others.
thanks for your replies and support
I did take a test drive.
I found it okay and peepy in the first and second gears.
Agree with you. on first and second gears, the ride quality was not that good.
I wonder what you mean it is not suitable for city driving?
you mean in stop and go conditions.

I thought about the Innova but I do not have seven people in my family.
Scorpio is too big for me. I just needed a little road presense, a comfortable seater for me and my wife and my Kid and a nice okay poered engine.
I have bookd for Fusion+ and should be getting it by march Middle.
Will keep you guys posted.
