Congrats Saugato. I just confirmed with Banaglore dealer here and he said all the new Hyundai cars are coming with Engine immobilizers.

Or is it that the immobiliser is present only in certain models / variants ?
My Hyundai i10 ERA purchased in Jan 2009 does not have engine immobiliser. Thats why I paid through my nose for installing Cobra remote locking system with engine immobiliser.

The info that I recieved from Hyundai Dealers is that all cars that are being manufactured after March 09 are coming with immobilizer inbuilt.
