Quote for Spark PS - Pune (No Goodies) Ok? EDIT now booked LS and delivered

I was looking for a ziffy drive in a city also something wify comfortable to drive. nothing urgent though as it is going to be my second hatch.

So today - i dont now why - stepped in showroom and took TD for Spark PS.


After bit negotiations got this deal 320000 including charges for credit card payment. However no goodies. Break up is attached.

It is for not metallic version.

Also what is RTO tax percentage in pune? Sales guy told me 7% is it true?

Please confirm if quote is fine or if there is any more scope to reduce it.

PS I dont want to opt for finance.

Final ON ROAD PRICE is good . In chennai it should be about 3.24L after all those discounts. may be you can push for remote or atleast sun film . if psbl you can also check LS version as it has factory fitted power windows for the front and body colour bumper with few utility add on's. Seems to be a good deal. I prefer to not push the dealer on 'goodies' as most of the accessories they usually install are rubbish. Go to a good accessories shop and get the usual stuff (ICE, Sunfilm, Autocop etc..).

Though, I have no idea regarding the car pricing in pune, I can advise you to please check the insurance part. Recently, I have also booked a Spark LS (metallic) here in Kolkata. I was quoted a price of around Rs. 3.47 lakh (guys is this ok, please confirm ?) on road out of which insurance is around Rs. 8,101/-(Listed price Rs.8,723/-). Since, I am going for HDFC Finance, this is HDFC's own insurance wing. I am offered just floor mats and mud flaps.

That is a very good price, about Rs 5k better than the one I was able to obtain, well done!
I would look to add the left outside rear view mirror, OE mudgards and floor mats for another Rs 2000 or so. It will help you get that deal done if you threaten to go and do the insurance on your own.

The price looks OK to me. I had bought spark LS an year back and had costed me something like 3.45K on road. So one without power windows etc @3.2L seems fine. Yes road tax is 7%

I been to showroom for 2td. a long one.

Also got slightly better deal - 3.17 now on road provided i dont use credit card.

However there is a slight problem.

I got mandate from home - car should be black. Not to mention , black is not in stock and white one is three month old ! Also as per some Muhurat Reason , delivery cant be taken between 5-18 Sept 09. And this perticular scheme is getting over by tomorrow.

So problem is Sales guy is insisting me to make Full Payment Tomorrow ! so that i will in scheme. He will try to deliver vehicle before 4 Sept 09 otherwise after 18 Sept 09. I am not comfortable giving full payment as it is not sure if they can give it to me by 4 Sept 09. i dont see this happening.

What to do?


As of now , i told him, i can give some Handsome booking amount ,

and

if delivery by 4th sept 09 , i will make full payment by 4th sept.

Else keep booing amount and deliver by sept end (not to mention Aug 09 manufactured piece.).

Lets See ... I think he is trying to pressurize me so that he can put this deal in month end.

absolutely no need to rush on this. if dealer is willing to accept a very nominal booking amount go ahead. else just wait for next month. these offers always continue - specially for a car like SPARK . good car though

Just got call from sales guy.

All of sudden he is having 2 Black PS !! Purchase Date: 29 Aug 09. (Ya -- Just 2 days back).

Now he is saying make full payment. I told him , i will pay booking amount , have a look at car at stock yard and then make full payment.

L
