I have decided that parents can use the DZire and I can dirve the new car.
I always loved the punto.
I am ready to compromise on A.S.S. It's the decision from the heart.

IMO Beat is only for the younger generation who like the contemporary styling, while Ritz is a family car for somewhat aged or a person with small family.
Beside the rear looks of the Ritz I will surely go for it at any time.

COngrats and all the very best. Hope you know what you are getting into

Not sure if its coincidental but did you notice how the responses dwindled after you mentioned your new decision. Welcome to FIAT. Every Owner On His Own!!!

^^
Thanks, I am ready for the compromise. I did have Palio 6 years ago.
I see a lot of Linea's and Punto's on the road. I am sure their service and availability of parts will improve.

+ with so many Punto and Linea owners on TBHP, I am sure I will be helped technically, in case anything goes wrong.

Well once the inital euphoria faded, it has started reflecting on the sales figures of both the Linea and the Punto. Moreover the low slung stance would not be too kind on your parents in terms of ingress/egress. At the end of the day, its your call, and hope that you are happy with whatever you buy, because that's what really matters !

I would be driving the GP.
Parents would be using the DZire.

I always loved the Punto, especially in red. No regrets.

Sumit, excellent choice. The horror stories of Fiat service are behind them and they are trying harder than just about every other brand to change their perception.

The Punto is one heck of a car, here's to many miles of happiness.

Once you get the car can you please let us know if you find a difference in interior quality between the TD car (I would assume that it's the older model) and your car.

Both are small, light easy-to-drive hatchbacks. But I'd say Ritz has the edge. Gearbox is better to use too. Beat would score on ride quality though.

Why so Jaggu? The Ritz has a better engine + gearbox, is quicker and has superior high speed behaviour.
