Both the engines are international engines. Anyways great decision. Figo is a much better car than Swift.

That's the best conclusion to ANY debate yet on Team-BHP.

Congrats Mohandas! You'll be very happy with the Figo diesel. Do upload a detailed ownership report of the car....will be immensely helpful to other (potential) Figo owners.

well since its having the same engine as running in fiesta, you can get the approx figures which IMO should be 15-20 kmpl.

I feel the turbolag in DDiS/MJD has been blown out of proportion. The point to note is, the turbo lag is only prominent in the second gear, the rest of the gears don't have a lag. So just by this factor you cannot keep the TDCi on top of DDiS/MJD.

Only one Go FI-GO.

The best VFM buy I would say in todays market.

Should be even more than Fiesta considering the body to weight ratio.
But never found official ARAI figures for FIGO.

Well, if people from Ford are reading this, I am sure they'd be delighted .

The Figo truly deserves the praise being showered on it. Ford got this one right. Now, get the 1.6 diesel for the Fiesta, pronto!

I beg to differ here. I know you guys are going to beat me up, but I say the best diesel under 6 lakhs would be the swift diesel . Its got a much bettter engine and the turbolag can be worked with bu the wonderful click gearshifts.Just my thought.
