Between these two Ritz would be my pick for the better petrol engine and the fact that you dont mind its looks. Get the ZXi and you wont regret for sure. A little less FTD compared to Swift though.

I have driven both the car for short distance and found Figo is more comfortable.
Also the looks and interior are better than Ritz. Ritz ofcourse also good vehicle but it looks not that suited in comparison with Figo.
It is bit complicated to select a car from 2 well known models?

I have made a first hand comparison of the two cars here

Default Go for FIGO

Hi, Go for FIGO. I am hearing more of possitive points and your leg room and space to keep luggage is far better. Running expenses is not heavy on your pocket. All the best.

Maruti is offering a discount of 22000/- which makes it around 30000/- higher than Figo titanium.. For that price difference, I am getting fat tyres, alloy wheels, rear power windows as extra.

But Figo comes with blue tooth connectivity. But petrol engine has not got many favorable reviews and may not be as fuel efficient as Ritz.

Can you help?.. While I depend on team-bhp for car reviews and have browsed through Reviews few hundred times I am confused about the comparison between the two.

Ritz has a very high fun factor
Figo has roomy interiors and you feel that you have a big car.

Personally speaking, Looks of both the cars are not too good.
Only if you pack your car with luggage very often, go for figo.

You won't repent with any of these two cars i feel.

I would have voted for Figo if Diesel was in consideration! But for a petrol mill, The Ritz is a clear winner! It's overall a better product!

I just did the opposite, went for Ritz zxi this Friday, when my heart softly kept saying figo !

In fact, my heart said 'The Grand Punto' even louder.

Ritz Zxi was never in the picture since it cost around 90K more and my father-in-laws budget was around 4L,stretched it to 4.4 for the FIGO

this is one of the most frequently asked questions that have come in new car buyer's mind..here are my 2 cents which might help you to decide :
Figo :
1. Excellent driveability and handling
2. best in class comfort..even the backseat comfort carries the ford signature
3. Bs 4 petrol engine.but not the best in class as compared to k series or kappa
4. As a result fe will not be as good as ritz or i10
5.a very spacious comfort feeling..both front and rear gives you ample space to relax and enjoy the comfort.
6. You may miss the rear power windows ( i asked if that can be fitted, ford guys said "NO" )

Ritz:
1. Best in class k series engine. Fuel efficient.
2. Nice to drive.but looses flavour to figo
3. Ride and comfort (consider standard city roads wiht potholes and no need to say unevent city offroading) is no way as good as figo.
4.cramped back seat may not be an obvious choice.
5.widely available maruti A**
