Have to say my experience at Apple auto service was nothing short of disappointing. The service advisor seemed disinterested in taking notes and just scribbled onto the paper. I was made to wait 2 days for just a general checkup. Have to decided to see another VW service centre for the next service.

Default Re: My Experience with VW Whitefield, Bangalore (Apple Auto)

My Vento was up for its 6th annual service and I took an appointment with Apple Auto Whitefield Bangalore for 9 AM - 12th March.

I reached there by 8:50 AM only to find that the service advisers stroll in way past 9 AM!

Since I had a recurring AC issue[ the car AC turns off in extreme heat while in slow moving traffic and comes back on once I rev the car or start moving] I asked for a knowledgeable SA. The receptionist informed me that the SA is running late and will be in shortly. After checking back multiple times post that between 9:10 and 10 AM, I am finally informed that the SA is on leave! It takes them another 10 mins to inform me that no other SA is available. The whole reason I went personally to the service center was to explain the AC issue to the SA and this is what I was treated with. An ordinary floor worker accepts the car for service by taking down basic notes.

He informed me that a SA will contact me soon. No one contacted me till 1 PM and on followup, there is confusion on their end as to who is taking care of my service! Finally one SA assures me that work is going on and that the other SA is on leave.

Next day the confusion is back on who is handling the car with each CA passing it to the other. Finally when I call at 1 PM I am informed that the service is done and AC issue is due to condenser which needs to be replaced at a cost of 10K. Declined the change and asked for it to be delivered at 4:30 PM with just service done as I wanted to get a second opinion.

I reach the service center by 4:15 PM and am told that the car is getting washed in the 2nd floor of the same building. The SA offers me a 3M car wash for the reason that their own cleaning is sub standard! Declined that too. The car was finally brought down at 6 PM in a semi clean state and I was billed 10 K for the sham.

While I waited, all that I could hear were really disappointed customers. Each one fighting with their SA. One customer was robbed off his antenna, another was given an unwashed car, another complaining that he didn't receive a single call from the SA since the point he left the car for service!

I am done with this place and am never going back. The place has totally degraded over the past year. Go there if you don't care about your car and your self respect !

If anyone has had a good experience with any other VW Service center in Bangalore, kindly let me know so that I can move to them.
