theMAG - What they mean is that the Prerna-Tata service station on Old Madras Road has started servicing FIAT as well.. They have got the service equipment, spares and training from FIAT.. The other 2 Prerna service stations, Adugodi and Peenya are not equipped for FIAT servicing and will continue to service only TATA.. If you need FIAT service, Contact Mr Samiullah at Prerna Old Madras Road garage.

FIAT never had responsibility for service.. Sundaram Automobiles has been doing it, but are shutting down as they have discontinued their FIAT relationship..

Now Javali motors has also started their operations in Bangalore. Their showroom/workshop is on Hosur road next to silk Board. Talk to Mr. Kulkarni the Works Mgr.....Dunno if he is the Sundaram guy or not

Hey, last week I gave my car(Fiat Petra EL) at GreenTracks (Owned by Javali Motors) for service. They did a pickup and drop for Rs. 100. Overall it was a good experience, Mr. Santosh who was taking care of the service procedures was constantly updating/consulting me on the things being done.

How much did they charge for Service & spares etc?

They infact did the 15000 Kms service.
Total was around Rs.2000 which included oil/filter change etc. plus Rs.500 toward default service charge.

Who among Tata Motors and Javali Motors is better for free services? In terms of expertise with Fiat, does Javali Motors have any special training?
I want to get my Fiat Petra D serviced next month.

I am not sure If Javali Motors (They are not yet Fiat authorised dealer for bangalore) will do free service now. You can check with them by calling the number given in this thread. Tata defenitely is doing service.
