All is well that ends well. I was always under the impression that getting replacement under warranty is easier with Fiat than others. This thread almost broke my belief. But in the end Fiat did honour the warranty.

I do not agree with the fact that overshooting the service intervals by such small amounts should void your warranty. With that out of way, a couple of photographs from the user manual.

Pls do note that they have not mentioned service 'intervals' of 15000 kms very clearly but it can be implied. Also the MID does give you alerts when you approach the scheduled service interval. They have also mentioned checks to be done at 15k, 30k, etc. However reading them in conjunction to the first line 'Service coupons shall be performed every 15000 Kms', I guess we get the gist of it. Pls note I am guilty of overshooting the interval myself as my 30k km service was done in 29.2 k Kms and next one at 44.8K kms.

This thread has been an eye opener. Scary if sometime down the line there is a warranty claim say at 60K Km and they don't honour it saying one service that was due at 44.2K Kms was done in 44.8K Kms.

Yes, the MID does send reminder frequently when we are closer to the schedule. I remember getting these reminders once.

I did the last servicing around 77K Kms and MID says that next servicing is 8757 Kms away(current ODO is 83K+), which is around 92K on the ODO. So, basically this number is based on the previous servicing and monitoring this number will help not to go beyond the schedule.
