Servicing Costs of Swift under warranty

Wanted feedback from fellow Swift owners regarding service costs under warranty. My Swift went for its 2nd servicing yesterday at Automotive. They have charged as follows :
1st service : Rs. 650 odd for replacement of oils

2nd service : Rs. 350 - Engine Oil replinishing (whatever that may be)
I was told they treat the oil for preventing carbonisation in engine !!

Hope there is no ripoff in this.

Other than above I got the rear backrest clips fixed for the noise they make.

I think the labour charges are not taken in the first 3 services the replacement parts have to be paid for

Absolute ripoff !!!
Oil top-up costed me Rs. 150, and full oil change costs ~ Rs. 350, for regular oil. If you use a special kind of oil (Castrol GTX, etc), it might cost you a little more, but am sure those retards at Maruti S.S. use the cheapest possible one. So.. don't ever go for consumables / accessory fitments at the dealer. These 'authorized' stations are only good for fitting new, genuine parts... nothing else.

Isnt the service absolutely free...why are you changing oils so soons...how many kms have you done..ive got both my cars serviced for free on their second service..and no oil change needed..

Yes 2nd service is absolutely free ...No oil change required....

In the 1st & 3rd service u'll be charged for the oils...Check your manual everything will be clearly specified...

I paid Rs 650/- on my first service for my Swift.

In my Second service, I was not charged a penny. Also check if your tyres have been rotated which is normally done at 5000 KMS.

for the cars bought after Nov 2005 if i remember correctly from hyundai they dont charge for the oil for the first three free services i do not know about the cars bought after Oct 2006 because me and mobike008 did not pay for our labor or the oil in the free service periods! we both have accent viva crdi red!

I am also interested to know the costs under warranty. I have Diesel. Here I am not sure you are talking about which model petrol or diesel.

I have done second service (at 5K KMs) without any oil change because it is recommended at 10K kms as per Maruti. Also tyres are rotated free of charge.

I paid 550 Rs for the wheel alignment and balancing. Thats all. First service is 650Rs for oil change. Nothing else.
