Default Maruti Dealers and company really troubling

hi guys
i had booked a swift diesel vdi on 30th july 2007 from bagga link motors. They had promissed to give me the delivery of the car within 20 days. I had gone to them a month later and they said the car hasn't arrived as yet and when asked them for a date and got a reply that it would not be able to give me a car before 15th october. When asked the reason for such a long delay they said that maruti is not releasing any swift diesel.

When i called the maruti helpline they said that they are releasing the car and they told me that the dealer is not giving you the car.

Is there any way that i can have an early delevery of the car as i have already waited for it for more than a month

Thanks

Give feedback to Maruti about the harassment faced and the deceptive practice adopted by Bagga.

This is quite unacceptable on part of the dealer. He has no right to delay the delivery of the car.
As suggested by mithun try another dealer.

AS somebody suggested in Swift waiting period thread, write to Maruti and see the dealer wake up.

I think you should either write to the Maruti senior-ups (I'm sure some of us tbhpians have some of their contact details) and also ask for a full refund from the dealer if the car is not delivered on the promised date.

Do you have a written commitment from the dealer with regards to the delivery date?

Not necessarily the case. Not that all Marutis are trouble free and their dealers saints.

I agree with Alex as the complaints are taken seriously as i had experienced for my father's zen some 6 years back and as a trial you can always try other dealers too ...i simply dont understand the customer relations here in India ..maybe they take too much for granted.

With a growing number of incidents like this, its no wonder Maruti lost their top spot on the JD Power rankings. Its about time Maruti gave their dealers a thorough talking too and take away dealership status of those that are taking the customer for a ride.

Nothing is trouble free in this world, only % differs. I am sure Maruti has lesser % and if there can be taken care efficiently by MARUTI, I know that since I have been driving MARUTI and others for last 16 years.

As far as dealers are concerned they are also human being like us not coming from other planet.
