Smile Ford has given reward points for Rs.2459. What next?

Hi,

Ford company has sent me a voucher for Rs.2459. This is the reward points accrued. I need to either use it for servicing or to buy some accessories. I had done the servicing in Oct-07. Hence the servicing is not due as yet. The last date for reviewing these is 31/12.

With the above amount, what all I can buy from ford as accessories except ICE set up.

Thanks.

Today i saw ad for their [FORD] On Road Assistance. Good to see that they are coming with plans to change customer moods or opinion on Ford A.S.S. Time has to say how much is the impact. Hope it makes some changes to the dealers also to make them more customer friendly.

The Road side Assistance plan was always available. I had gotten a leaflet on the same some time back. Dont remember much about it though.

@snaronikar : You could probably go for underbody coating from them if your car doesnt have it already. OEM spolier costs a staggering 8.5K.

Something similar to maruti's accident/highway help service.
old Customer is suppose to get enrolled in this [current one comes with this] and when they have any probs on the road, they can call this team. They are told to be equipped with all resources to set ur car right there... or pick it up with Flat bed trucks [not towing] to the nearest ford service

These are the reward points accrued during a period of time say 6 months for servicing/accessories bought from the dealer. They have withdrawn this scheme from sept-07 onwards. Yes, it is similar to maruti auto cards.

If these points are transferable to any other car, gift it to a friend who is going for service. If that sounds too selfless, I have another idea: Sell them off in the marketplace. A fellow bhpian would benefit by getting services worth Rs. 2459 at a discounted price and you will get some free cash. Win-Win!

Thanks for suggestion. But I'am not sure whether this can be transferrable. I would be glad to give it to fellow bhpian, of course with some cash (as exchange)....

Are you sure its withdrawn? Isnt this the same as the Blue Oval scheme, or some name of that sort?
