"My Car" Maruti Service Station in Wakad, Pune

I am in Aundh - the first 2 free services on my Swift have been done
at Sai Service Deccan - no problems, whatsover. It's almost time for the 3rd service. I don't want to drive into the city for getting the service done & was looking for places in and around Aundh.

The only one I could find was "My Car" at Wakad. Any experience with
this one? Or does anyone know of any other places where I could
get the service done?

I have serviced my M800 a few times at My Car, Wakad till the Sus Road, Pashan center opened. I wouldn't say my experience was always good. Following is the incident that has turned me away totally from My Car, Wakad

Last year when the reading was 52,000, I had given my car for servicing and both front wheel bearings replacement at My Car Wakad. The guy did only servicing and forgot to change the bearing which was my main problem. I shouted him a lot on that day so he agreed to pick my car up on the next day and get the bearings replaced. As agreed he did send someone to pick my car up and changed both the bearings. In terms of charges, he charged labor only for one bearing but obviously full for price of both the parts. Said it is discount for all the hassles caused to me on the previous day.

Currently, the reading is around 64,000. The front right bearing started giving noise since last week. Checked with Pashan center and he agrees that the front right bearing is giving the sound. In 12,000 kms it has happened. A bearings normal life is around 30,000 to 40,000. I am totally sure that the My Car has cheated me by replacing the bearings with used ones and not brand new. May be he did that because I shouted at him.

But at the Sus Road, Pashan center, the experience so far has been good. They have always taken care of some additional minor things in addtion to the main problems. . I'd surely recommend Pashan center over, My Car, Wakad. The only problem I face once in while at Sus Road, Pashan center is about availability of parts. Since it just a service center, they don't have a full fledged spares store. But this you'd face if you go for any specific request like axle shaft replacement etc.

Have you given Millenium a try? They are at Dapodi, beyond Harris bridge on the old Mumbai-Pune highway towards Nashik phata. The service center is on the left after the BP COCO petrol pump.

I have been servicing my car for the past 3 years with them. Their number is 66152000.

You can use their hourly shuttle services to Wakedewadi, if you find them to be out of the way.

I have been servicing my Swift from Sai Service MASS, Phugewadi. Its comes after Millenium and BP COCO Pump, in Dapodi.

My experience has been good. I would recommend Sai Service.

Well, I didn't have such a good experience there - they tried to cheat me with unnecessary stuff couple of times. Make sure every little thing they do is needed. For eg. for my 3rd service, they did extra additives etc though the manual doesn't prescribe it. I had them reverse all such charges.

Have had a very bad experience with Sai at Deccan. That was few years ago, when it was given there for one of the free services.

The quality of service regarding EVERYTHING was very bad! The car was not cleaned properly... esp. from inside. Wet mats were put on the carpet inside! All fluids, brake, coolant, etc were filled right to the brim... instead of upto the MAX. mark! Had to get them to drain it. Billing took inordinately long and they had absolutely no qualms about making us wait for ages.

One of my friends also had a pretty bad experience there - his new speakers were replaced with used ones.

There is more... dont recall all the details now.

Never been there since then... never will.

Millenium... had a good experience with them during last years servicing. But this time when we gave them the car twice for some major jobs like painting/denting/replacing cross member etc... the experience left a lot to be desired. I guess their workshop is better than the body shop... which seems to have been sloppy. Depends on who works on your car also.

Though not happy with the latest experience, this is where we have been giving the car till now... for want of a better place. Good thing is they are well equipped, with a higher degree of automation.

If you only need regular servicing... then its better to wait there and watch it being done. Thats the best option... but needs time.

I get my Civic and the wife's Alto serviced at Tune Up Plus, Baner. It is a MASS and I'm absolutely happy with the service provided. The owner is one Mr. Abhijit Lonkar, a very experienced and knowledgeable guy. He's a die hard auto enthusiast and was on the rally scene too.
He recently told me that he's signed up on T-Bhp after hearing about it from me, though I have no clue what his ID is.
