Cauvery Ford Bangalore Shut down - Team-BHP

Cauvery Ford in Bangalore will no more sell ford cars. The curtains are down and ford is moving to lathangi ford. Heard that Cauvery will sell Honda henceforth.

GM has 2 (Sundaram & one near East-End circle)
Ford has 2 (Lathangi & Metro)

You are right.
Lathangi, Cauvery & Advaith (Hyundai) all belongs to the Same person.

You are omitting Kalyani (or is it Garuda?). And no, they don't belong to the same person, but some of the partners are common.

Lathangi are another - I was under the impression that they were going to be a skoda dealer until Vinayak beat them to it

So, GM went from Garuda to Vijay Motors
Ford goes from Cauvery to Lathangi

Garuda took Maruti, and Cauvery takes Honda?

Btw, seems the manufactures are not encouraging more dealers. They just shuffle them I guess.

I do not know the exact Shareholding pattern, but the majority shareholder in Cauvery, Advaith & Lathangi is a family friend of ours.

OMG !! This would mean bad news for me!
When exactly is this happening? Also, is this news confirmed?
I have my car service scheduled for this weekend. No news so far about it being rescheduled.

Err....

Lathangi completely separate !!

Cauvery Ford (now Honda), Garuda Maruti and Advaith Hyundai are the same group.

Kalyani Motors is also related but not directly. One of the partners' brother in law is the owner there. they also operate a Bajaj showroom and service centre.

And there is no majority shareholding afaik. The three partners have equal share in each of the three ventures.

I know this because one of the partners is a close family friend.
