Another good experience - Mahalaxmi Auto, Maruti free service check-up camp

On 19th dec, sms flashed on my mobile. It was from Mahalaxmi auto, baramati [ authorised dealer of maruti auto] informing about free service check up camp on 20th and 21st dec. I thought it is regular service camp that will check our cars to detect the problems and force customers to cough money to rectify that problem. I had earlier very good experience about mahalaxmi auto which i have posted on team-bhp. I made up my mind to visit this camp.
Today morning at about 0930 i went to showroom of mahalaxmi auto. I was surprised that there was pandal and lot of cars were lined up. I became one of them. Within one min, service representative and security guard came toward me. They asked necessary info and filled job card and inward slip. One tag handed to me and asked me to visit the pandal until service checkup is done. One guy escorted me to pandal. Breakfast was arranged. Arrangement about archestra performance was going on. I got surprised and was eager to know whats going on. One manager explained me all things.
This free service check up camp is meant to give true experience of maruti service to its customers. Here customers means not only those who has purchased cars from mahalaxmi auto but all maruti vehicle owners.
There was free washing for car.
There was free checkup for car.
There was free engine oil top up.
There was free coolant top up.
There was free gear oil top up.
There was free break oil top up.
There was free tuning and other allied service.
There was free gift to everyone for attending this camp.
There was one lucky draw coupen with prize of rs5000 worth accessaries.
All this is done to please the customer.
I was somewhat not sure about the offered free services whether they actually do the things or just wash the car give it back to customer. I told the manager that i want to see the actual servicing. He told me to see the workshop by myself. I went inside the workshop and actually taken pics by my mobile camera. They were really doing all free services including oil and coolant top up. I was surprised and satisfied.
After one hour, i got my car back with nice gift pack.
It was amazing experience.

Hey Ashish, Your post prooves again that good ol Maruti A.S.S. is still one of the best in India. Its just how the individual dealerships reciprocate. Your dealer seems to be doing pretty well in that respect. Congrats!!
