Default Kalyani motors - Service workshop at bannerghatta road

Hi Folks,

I wanted to share my experience with Kalyani motors, Bangalore. They have a new service workshop opened at Bannerghatta Road, near Honeywell, opposite to IIMB. I think it was opened recently about 3-4 months back, it was quite near to my house and i decided to give my vehicle (Ritz D)for first service.

Ambiance :

1) It has very narrow entrance, people who don't drive at Bannerghatta road often surely will miss it.

2) Facilities, reception is OK, not so good.

3) Restrooms are pathetic (worst i ever seen in my life). Guys, please wake up you are in 21st century. At least, you need to clean everyday!

4) Parking space is adequate for visitors as well as inside.

5) No Debit or Credit card payment. Only Cash.

6) I didn't get computerized bill, got a manual one due to server issues?

Technical :

1) I can feel some improvement in my cars' noise and refinement.

2) Car was cleaned properly, no dust inside out.

These are my initial observations. Please share your views if you have visited anytime!

Any one services the car in Kalyani, Bannerghatta Road? If so, can you share the feedback? Also, how is it when compared to Bimal, Bannerghatta Road?

I have got my Alto -VX serviced there a few times and I have found them to be competent. Twice it was a regular service, and once it was for eliminating foul smell- apparently some rat had crept in and died, causing a foul odour.

I have also used Sagar Auto on Bannerghatta road--they are competent, but a bit arrogant in their dealing and the workshop is always very busy--so you have to schedule a service, or wait for a longer time to get your car.

Mandovi motors -Bannerghatta road -I did not like their quality of work.

I got my first service done here and they have definitely improved when I look at funda2max's post that was around 2.5 years back. Staff attitude was pretty good and helpful. Time of delivery was as per estimate. So was the final cost of service.

Though I think they could have done better with the Car wash/cleaning.

Lets hope they improve by the time I have to take my car for the next service.
