Default AAA Motors Delhi, bangs a brand New Ritz

How often have we read about bad After Sales Service here on TBHP..
A first hand experience. Friend (not a car fanatic really hence not on TBHP), buys a cherry red Ritz from AAA Motors, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi.

The car was bought in March, I had the honor of driving it a couple of times, and the engine really surprised me, in a real good way.!!

Well, time for the for the first Service and he goes back to AAA to get the car its first service. Now, apparently his car came with a minor glitch which he noticed quite late of course.. i.e. a slight gap between the bonnet and the body which was quite distracting and disturbing if looked at carefully.
So at first service he tells the dealer to repair the same and the dealer agrees calling it a - "Manufacturing Defect".
Well, anyway, he leaves the car and comes back to Gurgaon. Next day he is told that the car can be taken back only after a couple of days as it was sent to the Dent Specialist for repairs.
The friend totally unaware of what was going on pretty much caved in and agreed to collect it 2 days later.

Now he gets the car back, and even though the bonnet looks slightly better he notices a slight difference of shine on the left bumper attached to the body. He also notices a bulge, a sort of weird gap between the Bumper and the body, this time. Takes it to a Gurgaon dealer who confirms that the car's Bumper was repainted and reattached. Why? Well probably cause the car was banged by the Workshop Boys and repainted to fool a customer who was actually about to buy a Swift for his wife from the same dealer. Bad mistake.

Now I am guessing that the bumper got scratched, banged or something. I need the experts to tell me what exactly happened. Steroid, V12, GTO - Please help. Attached pics with the post.

That is Bad. I am sure the Bumper is refit. I am unable to make out the difference in paint on the pictures. It will appear clear to the naked eye directly.

Since they have refit the bumper, I am sure they have played around with it. Go back to them and fight. They would have written down / marked on the job card about any abnormalities on the vehicle. Ask them for a copy of the job card and you will have your way.

The pic and fiment looks much more than a scratch. The remove scratches with "brake oil" which is the cheapest and most cost effective way to remove scratches :-: forget about rubbing compound and Polish.

Ask them to provide you a new bumper and repaint your car .

Wash the area you think has been repainted and look it at an angle from which you can perfectly see the surface of the paint

if it appears pitted(called as 'orange peel' as it appears as pitted as an orange peel)

then its definitely repainted!!(actually you wont find this pitting in the factory finish as its perfect!

body-shop guys on the other hand are rather lazy and the thing known as 'perfect' doesn't exist in their dictionaries thats why they don't finish it properly

hence the pitting!

actually the same thing happened with me in Rishabh Hyundai! there the body shop mgr had the freaking guts to say that the car was scratched when I brought it!!

finally they had to repaint it at their expense when I showed them the pics I had taken just before giving the car to them!(everyone should do this!!)
